The number
As of October 2026, Trustpilot shows Life360 with a TrustScore of 1.6 out of 5, based on 328 reviews.1 Reviews there often say support is hard to reach, or only a chatbot.
What the score does and doesn't tell you
Trustpilot reviews come from people who chose to write one, and people with a problem are more likely to write than people who are happy. Millions of families use Life360, so 328 reviews is a small slice. A low score doesn't mean the app fails for everyone, and Life360 works well for many families.
Review sites also don't agree. For location problems, a separate look at 146 recent 1–3 star App Store and Google Play reviews found 65 about late or wrong locations.2
How to weigh it
- Read a few recent reviews yourself, good and bad, instead of trusting the number alone.
- Check the problems that matter to your family: location accuracy, price, privacy, and whether your teen will keep it on.
- Try a free option next to it before you switch. We wrote up the complaints, with sources, on Common Life360 problems.
Where Outft comes in
Outft is coming soon to iPhone, and the Android app is being built alongside it, so it has no Trustpilot score yet and we won't pretend otherwise. What we can do is say what it does: a live family map with honest location ages, arrival alerts and teen driving, free to download, no ads, and never sold or shared.
