Hold onto your hats

Your parents aren't the main character here.

Outft is a location-sharing app built for your crew. Share where you are with your Buds, see who's close, and meet up without twenty texts.

Parents can join too, one step back, with the updates that matter to them. Free for kids and teens.

How Outft works

Start your outft

Buds are your friends on Outft. An outft is your crew: invite your Buds, and they show up on your map and you on theirs.

Meet up faster

See who's close and where your outft is headed, so nobody has to text "where r u" five times.

Ghost mode

Need a break? Pause sharing with your Buds any time. Nobody gets un-Budded, and you turn it back on when you're ready. Your Honchos can still see you, and the app always tells you so.

Who can see me

See every person who can see you, and exactly what they see. No guessing.

For parents

What your parents can see, and what they can't

In Outft, a parent is a Honcho. Honchos ride in the back seat: they get the updates that matter to them, and the Buds side stays yours. You can always see exactly what each Honcho can see, right in the app.

Your Honchos can see

  • Where you are when they check the map
  • When you get to or leave places they set, like school or home
  • How you drive, if driving is switched on
  • You, even in ghost mode: it hides you from Buds, not from Honchos

Your Honchos can't see

  • Your chats
  • Your photos
  • Where your Buds are
